Commisioned by AMP/ Projectbureau in Groningen. I was asked to do the Open dag (View Day) for my own school; Academie Minerva (Art Academy).
Minerva was the Roman goddess whom Romans from the 2nd century BC onwards equated with the Greek goddess Athena. She was the virgin goddess of poetry, medicine, wisdom, commerce, weaving, crafts and magic.
My idea was to create a goddess in a playcard style, so I came up with this design, and got displayed in various things (A0 posters, booklets, flyers, 3mx3m windowsticker)
